Fuel dripping out of aircraft carburetor. Flooded Marvel Schebler carburetor

1. Leaking primer.

2. Leaking carburetor needle and seat.

3. Auto fuel. Adjust idle mixture.

4. Carburetor models NAS 3A1 and NAS 3B. In certain airplane installations the fuel level in the carburetor is above the present idle air-bleed location while the airplane is parked. It is possible for the fuel to drain from the fuel tank through the carburetor and out of the idle air-bleed onto the ground. Refer to Bendix-Stromberg Revision No. 1 of Service Bulletin 73 dated June 134, 1958.
