Low fuel flow in Lycoming or Continental Aircraft Engine1. Dirty fuel filter screen. If Lycoming fuel injection, strainer in RSA unit plugged. In Continental aircraft engines don't forget there is a fuel screen in the fuel divider.2. Injector lean. Run engine at a given power setting at full rich. Observe fuel flow and compare to fuel flow requirements for that power setting as found in Operator's Manual. An increase in cylinder head temperature, EGT or oil temperature may be an indication of a lean injector.
