Levels determined using Emission Type Spectrometer and with silicone content shown. Based on scheduled 100 hour oil changes. Each engine may vary from levels shown.

A "break" in the curve approximately 4 times above the average values plotted signify a warning. Normal levels of Chromium can vary depending on if you have chrome or steel cylinder barrels.

This is also true for iron. High iron levels can be caused by corrosion in the engine. This would be especially true if you had a one-time high iron reading after a period of engine inactivity.
