Overspeed on takeoff

1. Wrong setting on governor.
2. Too rapid opening of governor.
3. Damaged or incorrect gasket between governor base and engine mounting pad.
4. Sticky governor pilot or relief valve.
5. Erroneous reading tachometers or manifold pressure gauges.
