111 Medium pressure rubber hose

  • Appearance Black woven hose typically used on brake lines and as an engine compartment hose.
  • Hose Construction Seamless Buna-N inner tube reinforced with one fiber braid, one braid of high tensile steel wire and cover of synthetic rubber impregnated, oil resistant fiber.
  • Recommended Usage Medium pressure service with petroleum base hydraulic, fuel, and lube oils. Hose does not tolerate heat. Carbon reinforcement braid may corrode in adverse climates.
  • Recommended temperature limits in accordance with Mil-H-8794 (a) Hydraulic and fuel applications, sizes -4 thru -12, -65 to +160 degrees F. (b) Lubricating oil, sizes -4 thru -12, -65 to 250 degrees F. (c) All applications -16 thru -48, -40 to +160 degrees F. Recommended temperature limits in accordance with TSO-C53a (a) Hydraulic and fuel applications, size -4 thru -12 -65 to +250 degrees F. (b) Hydraulic and fuel applications, size -16 thru -48, -40 to 250 degrees
  • Equivalency Aeroquip equivalent is 303-size Mil-Spec Mil-H-8794D
  • Vacuum Limits -2 thru -10, 28 inches-Hg vacuum
