How to order an Ignition Harness

Your engine takes one ignition harness. Strange as it may seem a harness for one magneto is called a 1/2 harness.

Here's what we need to know before to get the correct harness for your engine

We need to know what spark plug size you have in your engine. Engines can use either 5/8 or 3/4 spark plug. This is the nut size for the spark plug lead

3/4= RHM series spark plugs
(example RHM40E takes 7/8 lead  wrench - also called "all weather")

5/8 = REM series spark plugs
(example REM40E takes 3/4 lead wrench)

Engine model you have such as O-320 A2B or O-470-R

We need to know which magneto model you have. Example Slick 4330, or Bendix S20 series. Different magnetos have different caps. Be sure to tell us the model and not just the manufacturer of the magneto.

Harness Color can be either Light Blue (Bendix Blue), Dark Plug, Yellow, Red, Black

Lead Elbow. Most harnesses do not use elbows as the lead comes straight out of the nut as shown on the right. You may request a 45 or 90 degree elbow if needed (extra cost).
