Loss of gloss on Urethane finish coats

1. Material being sprayed has too high a viscosity.
2. Spray gun not adjusted to properly atomize the material and deposit a wet smooth film.
3. Spray operation conducted in humid or wet environment. Excess moisture causes small blisters to form under the fresh finish coat. Allow 12 hours to dry before exposing to damp weather.
4. Incompatible reducers, thinners, or paint additives used in the finish coat.
5. Water from air line mixed with paint film.
6. Urethanes applied in temperatures above 90 degrees F. causing polymerization before solvents escape.
