Ammeter shows 0 current all phases of the timer cycle

1. No power from aircraft.
2. Tripped circuit breaker. Locate and correct short before resetting circuit breaker.
3. Faulty circuit breaker or switch. If no voltage at circuit breaker output with voltage at input and circuit breaker doesn't reset, replace circuit breaker. If voltage is OK at output, check switch in same manner. If voltage is OK at switch output then ammeter is faulty.

5. Open ammeter to timer. Check for proper voltage at harness.
6. Open timer to brush assembly.
7. Open in deicer, deicer wire harness, or slip ring assembly leads. If system is B.F. Goodrich then check resistance per B.F. Goodrich Report No. 59-728. See Section 5-4.5, B.F. Goodrich Report No. 68-04-712B, Ohmmeter needle must not flicker when leads are stretched or flexed.
