Ammeter shows normal currency part of cycle, excess current rest of cycle.

1. Short to ground or short between adjacent circuits, timer to brush block. Short to ground between adjacent circuits in brush block.
2. Short to propeller or short between two adjacent circuits - slip rings to deicers.
3. Faulty timer.
