1. Brushes arching. Check brush alignment and wear. Check slip rings for wear and dirty.

2. Loose connection.

3. Switch or circuit breaker faulty. Place temporary jumper across switch or circuit breaker; if radio noise disappears replace switch or circuit breaker.

4. Wiring too close to radio equipment. Locate deice wiring at least 8 inches away from radio equipment and wiring.
