Uneven fuel feed

1. Vent problem.

To prevent uneven fuel feed both tanks must be equally vented. This requires that the air pressure in each tank be equal. Uneven fuel tank pressure can occur because of the position of the fuel vent to the direction of flight. Fuel vent position is important on aircraft where the vent is mounted on the underside of the wing next to the wing strut. For Cessna aircraft, position the vent according to the Cessna service manual.

Also check for clogged vent lines. With the gas caps off, gently blow into the vent.
